Years Couponing Experience: I have only been doing it for three or four months.
Can you tell us more about how you started couponing? My wife came home after getting some coupons and was bragging about how much she saved. I realized that we could save a lot of money if we started taking it seriously. So we made it a challenge to see who could save more when we went grocery shopping. We take turns shopping, and compare to see who does better. (I have won the last two times!!!!)
Do you have a coupon motto/philosophy? If you see it, clip it! If we won’t use it, someone else will! (We share coupons with a small group of people.)
What do you like about Grocery Coupon Network: BEING ABLE TO PRINT COUPONS! (But honestly, I tend to look at the twitter feed more, where I can see new coupons and deals as they come up. (I have a twitter feed that I keep open all day and mail myself the links to the coupons so I can print them when I go home). I usually check it at break times.
How much do you save a month, on average, by couponing: We have cut our grocery budget from over $1200.00 a month to just over $500 a month!
What would you say to encourage people to start couponing on GroceryCouponNetwork.com: what, you have extra money? I only spend a few minutes a day doing coupons!
Do you set financial goals for your family?: It is a joint responsibility in our house.
