Mexican Food Recipes
Mexican food is not only filling but when you take into consideration how much nutritional value there is in many Mexican dishes you will find yourself tempted to eat Mexican every night! Many Mexican dishes require spices that our bodies really benefit from. Seeing a recipe for it’s healthful potential takes just a little imagination. For instance, many mexican dishes call for white flour or corn tortillas. You could instead use whole wheat tortillas which you can buy at most grocery stores or make at home. Also consider making your salsa fresh at home each meal for extra flavor and nutrition.
And here’s a tip regarding the use of spices in dishes: Store your spices in a cool, dark place as they lose both flavor and much of their nutritional value when exposed to heat (that means storing right above the stove/oven for convenience may not be a good idea).
