Rite Aid Coupon Policy

Rite Aid Coupon Policy

Save more at Rite Aid!

Here is Rite Aid’s Coupon Policy per their website:

Rite Aid accepts Manufacturer Coupons, Rite Aid Manufacturer Coupons, Rite Aid Valuable Coupons, Internet/Print at Home coupons and eCoupons.

General Guidelines:

  • Coupons must be valid and in date; Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.
    • Register will validate coupon through scanning or keyed entry of the coupon UPC number.
    • In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Rite Aid will accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item.  Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is allowed.
    • When making a return for a product that had a coupon attached, Rite Aid cannot refund cash for the value of the coupon and cannot return the coupon that was used.
    • Rite Aid reserves the right to not accept any coupon where the validity or the coupon cannot be established.

Multiple Coupons Guidelines:

  • More than one coupon can be used on the purchase of a single item under the following conditions:
    • All coupons match the item being purchased.
    • The total of the coupons is equal to or less than the selling price of the item before sales tax.

No more than one Rite Aid Valuable coupon, one Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon, and one Manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item. Rite Aid may accept up to 4 identical coupons for the same number of qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers within the store manager’s sole discretion.

Buy One, Get One Free:

  • Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased.  A customer can use one “cents off”  coupon (a coupon of fixed value such as $.50, $1.25, etc.) in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One, Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item.  Customers can use up to two coupons with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion, provided the total value of the coupons does not exceed the selling price of the two items combined.
    • Buy One, Get One Free coupons cannot be used in conjunction with a Buy One, Get One Free or with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion.

Total Purchase Coupons:

  • Rite Aid may feature total purchase coupons, which discount the total purchase amount based upon meeting specific requirements.  For example, $5 off a $25 purchase price threshold coupon.
    • These coupons are accepted under the following conditions:
      • The coupon is valid and in date; only one total purchase coupon per transaction.
      • Total purchase equals or exceeds $25 before tax (before any coupons are applied).
      • Coupons for individual items can also be used including another “48” coupon that is tied to an item in the transaction.
      • Provided the total of items purchased is equal to or greater than the purchase requirement, other coupons can be used in conjunction with the total purchase coupon.

Rite Aid 101: Ways to Save

Rite Aid 101: Ways to Save

Rite Aid has a ton of programs to help you save money! While this is exciting, it can be a little overwhelming to keep everything straight. Here are all the ways you can save money at Rite Aid:

Wellness+ Plenti Card:

Signing up for a wellness+ Plenti Card is free and easy! Just visit RiteAid.com or your local Rite Aid store to receive a card. Then, give your wellness+ with Plenti Card to the cashier everytime you check out. The wellness+ with Plenti allows you to link with other Plenti Partners including AT&T, Direct Energy, Membership Rewards, Hulu, Nationwide and Macy’s.

Plenti Points Program:

Plenti brings together great stores and businesses to give you savings and convenience – no more keeping track of different kinds of rewards programs. You can earn points fast and use them at certain Plenti partners. At Rite Aid you can earn Plenti Points on rotating product offers and special weekly offers. Use Plenti points for savings during checkout: 100 Plenti Points equals a $1 in savings at Rite Aid. Be sure to visit each partner page to learn about how you can earn and use points with each partner!

Wellness+ Points Program:

In addition to Plenti Points you can use your wellness+ Plenti card to earn wellness+ points. You can earn 1 wellness+ point for $1 spent on non-prescription purchases at Rite Aid. These wellness+ points stack towards a Bronze, Silver or Gold status and are separate from Plenti points. Once you earn 250 points in one calendar year you reach Bronze status which earns you 10% off Rite Aid brand products for a year plus a one-time shopping pass for 10% off throughout the store. Customers reach Silver status after accumulating 500 wellness+ points in a calendar year. With your Silver status you can enjoy 10% off through the store for a year! Gold status is reached once you accumulate 1,000 wellness+ points in one calendar year. With your Gold status you will receive 20% off throughout the store for a year!

Coupon Stacking:

Rite Aid has a very liberal multiple coupon stacking policy that allows you to stack manufacturer coupons with Rite Aid coupons. First, it is important to understand the different types of coupons that Rite Aid will stack.

1. Manufacturer Coupons are found in newspapers, magazines and even affixed to products. The UPC on these coupons begins with a “5.”

2. Rite Aid Manufacturer Coupons generally appear in their weekly circular, on their website and are sent to customers via e-mail. These coupons are labeled “manufacturer coupon” and have a UPC that begins with “49.”

3. Rite Aid Valuable Coupons are labeled “variable coupon” and have a UPC that begins with “48.”

Rite Aid’s Coupon Stacking Policy allows more than one coupon can be used on the purchase of a single item under the following conditions:

  • More than one coupon can be used on the purchase of a single item under the following conditions:
    • All coupons match the item being purchased.
    • The total of the coupons is equal to or less than the selling price of the item before sales tax.
  • No more than one “48″ Rite Aid valuable coupon, one “49″ Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon, and one “5″manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item.
  • Rite Aid may accept up to 4 identical coupons for the same number of qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers within the store manager’s sole discretion.

BOGO Policy:

Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased.  A customer can use one “cents off” coupon in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item. Buy One Get One Free coupons can NOT be used in conjunction with a Buy One Get One Free promotion.

Load2Card:

This program is very simple and saves your paper and ink costs! Register your wellness+ with Plenti card online or Log in to your account. Once you have activated your wellness+ with Plenti online account or logged in, you will be taken directly to your Load2Card homepage. Use the dropdown tools located towards the top of the screen to find and sort coupons by product category and/or brand. To add a coupon to your wellness+ with Plenti card, click the “clip” button. The coupon will automatically be added to your card within minutes for you to redeem at Rite Aid. To view and manage the coupons currently clipped to your card, click on “My Coupons” located in the navigation menu. You can also ask an associate during checkout. To redeem your coupons, scan your wellness+ with Plenti card at checkout. The register will automatically recognize if you’ve loaded coupons for the items you’re buying and print the savings right on your receipt.

In-Ad Coupons:

Rite Aid also includes coupons in their weekly ad.  These are store coupons with the sequence RC49 preceding the numerals under the barcode.  Rite Aid coupon policy calls these “Rite Aid Manufacturer Coupons” but just treat them as store coupons and stack them with manufacturer’s coupons!

When you shop @ RiteAid you can use multipul coupons for a single item. There are the manufacture coupons from the paper, Rite Aid video value coupons, the coupons you find in the Rite Aid flyer, ones the have printed out from previous shopping trips, and of course the reward coupons you may have(UP Rewards). PLEASE REFER TO RITE AIDS COUPON POLICY and you will see the list on how many can be used. I enjoy shopping @ Rite Aid simply because I save more money there than if I had gone to any other store. And the best was when I had over $500 worth of merchandise and after my loyalty card was scanned(I do get 20% off regular price), the clearance prices were input, and all my coupons, I walked out paying only $23.67!!!! That day was the best day ever. I do hope this helps someone else out there looking to super save @ Rite Aid.

Rite Aid has great deals on Makeup and other items. Not only can you use your manufacturer coupons but you also can receive up rewards that gives you extra points that is used like money in the store. I also use their pharmacy. I have been given $25 in up rewards before that was fantastic!

I shop at the Rite Aid store in Grand Blanc, MI at the corner of Hill and Belsay Rds. They are where I fill all of the prescriptions of my wife and I. They are by far the fastest in terms of time for filling prescriptions (usually in 10 minutes or less as compared to over an hour at Meijer for example. They have occasional good specials and their loyalty program is nice. However, as for buying most other items I only do so when on sale and/or with coupon as their prices are way higher than the other stores I shop at.
