What to Buy in The Month of July and What to Skip!
Top Four Items to Grab in July
July is a month of BBQs, summer celebrations and outdoor fun….that doesn’t mean the items you need for these events are at lowest prices. Check out the best sales happening in the month of July and get tips on what you should wait to buy. Check out our best tips and tricks below.
Amazon Prime Day
Amazon has held this sale day for the last several years and they often have super deals, priced at the lowest prices of the year. So be on the lookout for deals- Prime Day actually lasts for 30 hours (perhaps Prime Day and a Quarter Day is a better name?) so it starts at 9 p.m. EST on July 10th. Start checking early and often for the best deals!
This is a random tidbit of info but paint sales usually go down in July because it’s too hot to paint! Therefore, you’ll see a lot of sales on top brands. Buy the paint now and wait until it cools down, just make sure to store it properly and you’ll be set. Sherwin-Williams, Lowe’s and more will have deals.
Black Friday in July
July marks the halfway to holidays season and many stores have started having sales and calling them Black Friday in July. As this catches on, more stores are participating and having comparable deals to what you might see around the holidays. Check your favorite stores and use sites like ebates to save even more.
Since summer is half over, this is the time to buy new swim wear and gear at the lowest prices. You will still get a lot of use out of it, since the warm weather should continue for awhile or you can buy for next year. Look for Target Cartwheel offers and clearance deals stating at Land’s End and other swim stores.
What Not to Buy
Laptops and grills are two items that are at their highest prices this month. Both will see much lower prices at the end of summer and beginning of all. Hold off on buying one if you can!
