Coupon Tip: Price per piece

Buying the smaller package (or trial size when allowed) makes your coupon more valuable.

For example:
$1 cascade complete dishtabs coupon comes out in the Sunday circulars about once a month.

Target has these as a trial pack (with 4 tabs) for 97 cents so you get this package free with the coupon and your price per piece is zero.

The bigger pack is around $5 for 26 so you are paying about 15 cents each (with the coupon) so even though you’re getting more, the cost per item is way less getting the smaller pack (free vs. 15 cents/ea).

Take this theory into consideration on everything you buy- it can help you determine which size/item would give you the most bang for your coupon buck!
