coupon tips

Easy and quick!

I’ve used a lot of tips and tricks and techniques to maximize my coupon experience. In doing this, I’ve found that different systems work better at different times in our lives. Right now, I shop with my two young children and I need a way to have easily accessible and something that I can do really quickly. I don’t always have time to dig through my organizer and sort things out and look for a coupon I think I have.

So, on small shopping trips where I have 5-10 coupons, I use a safety pin! It’s a super easy way to keep your coupons together and at the register, I just pull off the coupons I need and pile them up. You can even pin your shopping list on the front. I group all the coupons as I would in my organizer and put store coupons with their matching MQs. It’s very organized and simple and most of all, quick! Try it out and see if it works for you. Make sure when you pin the coupon, it’s in an upper corner that won’t disrupt any bar codes or numbers needed for check out.

Samantha, ma’am….this is a wonderful idea. It ought to work especially well when you’re on a “bombing run” and have to stop at several places, each with it’s own list and coupons. If you don’t have safety pins, you can use paper clips in the same manner…..just “skewer” the list and coupons with the end of the clip. Thanks for the good idea, Melody
